Operational Efficiency services for CPA firms include such steps as:

  • Reviewing the firm’s organizational structure to look for overlap and confusion of authority;
  • Analyzing the paper flow and automated routines to determine costly out-of-date or band-aided ineffective processes; and
  • Reviewing expectations, practices, processes and procedures to better streamline jobs and organizational synergy.

We have yet to find a CPA firm that has not significantly benefited from this level of analysis. CPA firms are commonly burdened with legacy processes that no longer make sense, which detract from overall performance, and consume an inappropriate amount of resources.
