Buy-Sell-Merge CPA Firm
Succession Institute (SI) is in the final stages of building a "Marketplace" service for CPA firm.  This service will help CPA firm:

  • Find other CPA firms to Acquire (buyer),
  • Find other CPA firms to be Acquired (seller),
  • Find other CPA firms to Merge into (upstream merger), and
  • Find other CPA firms to Merge into their Firm (downstream merger).

The process will allow the user to quickly, anonymously, and confidentially locate firms in specific geographical areas, or firms with specific specialties, that might be interested in opening a discussion.

This process we follow is we show "Alias" information, which is simply generic sales type of information that the CPA firm in our system is willing to share without a signed non-disclosure document.  For example, if a firm in Austin Texas is interested in being acquired, they might show their location as Central Texas in this first pass review.

Once a firm has decided they want to take the investigation to the next level, our system will present non-disclosure documents for both sides to execute.  At that time,  SI will provide a higher level of access to firm information (both for the buyer and the seller).

If both parties continue to be interested, SI will facilitate a connection between the firms so that more detailed discussions can occur.
