Team Building
Contractor management teams and project management teams have come to rely on us at Succession Institute LLC for assistance in team building. Existing teams benefit from our diagnostic approach to consulting as well as our familiarity with construction. This combination allows us to help generate specific team-building objectives that meet the teams’ long-term goals.
Newly formed groups benefit from the quick-start assistance we provide in helping them develop the team infrastructure they need for success. Team infrastructure helps create a culture for the team—“the way we do things around here.” Our approach facilitates the team meeting its task objectives while using appropriate processes to ensure optimum individual contribution and satisfaction. Infrastructure includes processes for communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution, among other things.
Sometimes teams get stuck—they get stuck in conflict, or in low morale or low performance situations. Because of our experience helping groups get unstuck, Dom and Bill can help get your team unstuck and help your team work through intergroup or intragroup conflicts. We prefer confronting the issues and resolving them in these situations to affirmations and group hugs. We know what works and what doesn’t in these settings so valuable group time is used appropriately and effectively.
