Operations

The Operational Efficiency service includes such steps as:

  • Reviewing the organizational structure to look for overlap and confusion of authority;
  • Analyzing the paper flow and automated routines to determine costly out-of-date or band-aided ineffective processes; and
  • Reviewing expectations, practices, processes and procedures to better streamline jobs and organizational synergy.

We have yet to find a company that has not significantly benefited from this level of analysis. Organizations are commonly burdened with processes that no longer make sense, which detract from overall performance, and consume an inappropriate amount of resources. To gain more insight into our perspectives, select the File Cabinet menu, then the Articles submenu, next select Management articles, and you will find several papers and articles that elaborate more fully on this topic.
